The most common issues with plotter templates

1. CRICUT DESIGN SPACE - Image load failure

It may happen that when opening an svg file, Cricut Design Space shows the error message Image load failure. Many people complain about this problem (sometimes even the files that previously worked properly stop opening):
I always have to solve this type of problem individually and I need some cooperation with the user. So please wait for my message, I'll send you different versions of file to test.

You can also try to solve the problem yourself, using my tutorial:

2. WHERE’S MY SVG FILE?

The provided ZIP always contains three files: svg, pdf and studio3. However, sometimes it happens that SVG is recognized by Windows system as „HTML document”. It doesn't mean the file has been changed or will work any differently. You can  use the file as you normally use SVG files. Just try to open it with your plotter software.

 3. MY TEMPLATE DOES NOT WORK!

I won't be able to help you without knowing the details. Are you trying to open a file but receive an error message? It doesn't open at all or something else? Please describe what actually does "not work" and attach a screenshot.
Please take into account that most problems are related to the Windows system or the plotter software. It is rather unlikely that the template itself is bad. To make the example item shown in the product gallery I use exactly the same files that the buyer receives.

4. THE ITEM DOESN’T COME OUT AS ON THE PHOTOS

I test all my patterns on Silhouette Cameo. I can't predict whether a file will open correctly in other programs, like Cricut Design Space. The pattern sheet look as in the pdf file. If it’s messy or if any parts of it are missing, please send me a screenshot.
The result also strongly depends on your material, blade sharpness, plotter settings and many other factors. If something goes wrong, send me a photo. I have encountered many different problems when working with a cutting machine, so I will probably be able to solve yours.
